The Editing Bug

When I was a kid, I wanted to be an archeologist, then a sfx model builder, and then a geneticist. In college, organic chemistry did not agree with me, and I ended up changing my major from biochemistry to linguistics. After graduating, I taught English in Japan and worked in Finance in New York.

So how did I end up editing video? I have always loved narrative: storytelling, creative writing, cartooning. Through friends, I got into the practice of fan remix video known as vidding. It was love at first click. I ditched iMovie, ran out to buy Final Cut, and taught myself to use it.

Hundreds of hours of marathon editing, all nighters, and hobbyist deadlines later, I decided to make this not just my passion but my career.
